Advice from seriously successful innovators across disciplines but with a common theme – saying no – should be ample food for thought.

It can be hard to say “no” to requests and opportunities, especially ones that are pretty good (but not the absolute best). And it takes continual practice and effort to ensure that our activities are truly aligned with our goals. This little nugget reminds us that we can do better work by doing less. Not less effort, but perhaps less diversity. Not less time, but less wasted time. Not less action, but less action that is not counted in terms of tangible end products of our efforts. Not less attention, but less distraction.
